　　1. 能夠借助圖片讀懂Fun Time的基本信息，并嘗試進行小制作。

　　2. 學唱與本單元話題相關(guān)的歌曲。

　　1. 熱身活動

　　在閱讀活動前，教師先與學生自由談話，如教師問：Where is China on the world map？ What is China famous for？ Can you introduce a famous place in China？學生回答。師生簡單談論后，教師引導學生看A部分的短文配圖，預測短文內(nèi)容。

　　2. 閱讀活動

　　(1) 閱讀前，教師提問學生：Where is China？ What is the population of China？ What is the capital of China？ 學生帶著這幾個問題快速閱讀短文，并從中找到相關(guān)信息。之后教師播放錄音，學生核對答案。最后教師在語境中教授新詞Asia和population。

　　(2) 教師再提問學生：What is the highest mountain in the world？ What are the famous rivers in China？ 然后請學生閱讀第一段，并找出相應的答案。教師播放相應段落的錄音，并適時教授生詞：Qomolangma， Yangtze River， Yellow River。
