　　A fox was once very hungry and went in search of some food.

　　從前有只狐貍，他肚子餓了，想找點(diǎn)吃的。

　　He searched everywhere， but he couldn‘t find anything that he could eat.

　　他四處尋找，但是找不到任何吃的。

　　Finally， with his stomach rumbling， he came upon a farmer’s wall.

　　終于，餓得肚子咕咕叫的狐貍，來(lái)到了農(nóng)民家的墻外。

　　On top of the wall were the biggest， juiciest grapes the fox had ever seen.

　　墻頭上長(zhǎng)了一株葡萄，狐貍從來(lái)沒見過這么大這么多汁的葡萄。

　　The rich purple color told the fox that they were ready to be eaten.

　　紫色的葡萄高高掛著，狐貍知道葡萄已經(jīng)熟了。

　　The fox jumped high in the air to catch the grapes in his mouth， but he missed.

　　狐貍高高跳起，想要咬住葡萄，但是沒咬到。

　　He tried again and missed again.

　　他又試了一次，還是失敗了。

　　He tried a few more times but missed each time.

　　他試了一次又一次，每一次都失敗了。

　　Finally， the fox decided to go home all the while muttering， ‘I’m sure the grapes were sour anyway‘.

　　最后，狐貍決定還是回家了，他邊走邊說“反正這葡萄一定很酸。”
