2019年小學英語晨讀練習：《鎖在門外》

　　Gran picks up Suzie from school. Gran pushes the babies and Suzie walks Boxer the dog. When they get home， Gran looks for her key. She looks in all her pockets， but there is no key.

　　奶奶去學校接蘇西。奶奶推著孩子們，蘇西遛狗。當他們回到家，奶奶開始找她的鑰匙。她翻遍了所有的口袋，但是沒有鑰匙。

　　“Let’s try the back door，” says Suzie. But the back door is locked. “Let’s try the windows，” says Gran. But the windows are locked， too.

　　“我們到后門去試試，”蘇西說。但是后門也是鎖著的。“讓我們試試窗戶，”奶奶說。然而窗戶也是鎖著的。

　　Suzie gives Boxer a hug. “Oh Boxer，” she says. “Can you help us？ You are a clever dog. Please， tell us what to do.” Gran laughs. “Boxer can’t help us，” she says. “He is not that clever.”

　　蘇西擁抱了鮑克瑟一下。“哦，鮑克瑟，”她說。“你能幫助我們嗎？”你是一只聰明的狗。請告訴我們該怎么做。”奶奶笑著說。“鮑克瑟幫不了我們，”她說。“他沒那么聰明。”

　　Suzie lets Boxer go. The dog goes to the back door and he pushes at the dog flap. “Boxer is lucky，” says Gran. “He can get into the house.”

　　蘇西放開了鮑克瑟。狗走到后門，他推了推狗的擋板。“鮑克瑟很幸運，”奶奶說。“他可以進屋去。”

　　“I can get into the house， too！” Suzie says. Suzie gets into the house through the dog flap， too. She opens the door and Gran and the babies come in.

　　“我也能進去！”“蘇西說。蘇西也從狗的門縫里進了屋。她打開門，奶奶和孩子們進來了。

　　Gran gives Suzie a big hug. “Thank you. You are a very clever girl，” she says. She gives Boxer a biscuit. “Thank you， too， Boxer. You are a very clever dog！” she says.

　　奶奶給了蘇西一個大大的擁抱。“謝謝。你是一個非常聰明的女孩，”她說。她給鮑克瑟一塊餅干。“也謝謝你，鮑克瑟。你是一只非常聰明的狗！”她說。
