1. Warm up:

Sing the English song on P17 together.

2. Review:

A.    Review all the new words of last lesson.

Read all the words together and read them one by one.

B.    Review the text:

 Listen, point and repeat the dialog.

C. Have the Ss act out the dialog in class.

Have three groups show in class.

3. Presentation:

1) Show the picture on P20 on the screen. Have the Ss describe the pictures. What can you see?

Train, window, raining, pigs, sleeping, tree, umbrellas, man, hat, rain coat, boots, children, jumping, train, tunnel, sun, park, station

(learn “boots” “tunnel” “station”  first)

2) Read the passage and judge.

Before the train goes into a tunnel, what does the girl see? Judge the sentences.

a. The weather is sunny.

b. The pigs are eating under a tree.

c. People are carry umbrellas.

d. A woman is wearing a big hat and a rain coat and boots.

e. Children are jumping in the water.

3) Read the passage and judge.

Then the train goes out of the tunnel.

It is raining.

Children are playing at the station.

4. Practise:

1)Listen , point and repeat.

2) Finish activity 1 on P20 of the activity book.

3) Read activity one themselves.

 

5. Consolidation:

 Finish the activity book of this part.

I’m in a train. I am looking out of the window. It is raining. The pigs are sleeping under the tree. People are carrying umbrellas. A man is wearing a big hat and a rain coat and boots. Children are jumping in the water. Then the train goes into a tunnel. It is very dark. Then we come out of the tunnel. It isn’t raining. The sun is shining. Children are playing in a park. Then the train arrives at the station.
